默想：「你們要謹慎自守，免去一切的貪心，因為人的生命不在乎家道豐富。」（路12:15）Insight: “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” (Luk 12:15)

默想：「你們（作父親）雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況天父，豈不更將聖靈給求祂的人嗎？」（路11:13）Insight: “If you (a father) then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”” (Luk 11:13)

默想：耶穌回答說：「馬大，馬大！你為許多的事思慮煩擾，但是不可少的只有一件，馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的。」（路10:41-42）Insight: ““Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”” (Luk 10:41-42)

默想：「手扶著犂向後看的，不配進神的國。」（路9:62）Insight: “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luk 9:62)

默想：耶穌對他們說：「你們的信心在哪裡呢？」他們又懼怕又稀奇，彼此說：「這到底是誰？祂吩咐風和水，連風和水也聽從祂了。」（路8:25）Insight: ““Where is your faith?” He asked His disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”” (Luk 8:25)

默想：「我（軍官）也自以為不配去見祢（耶穌），只要祢說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。」（路7:7）Insight: “That is why I (centurion) did not even consider myself worthy to come to you (Jesus). But say the word, and my servant will be healed.” (Luk 7:7)
