默想：『我們受患難原是命定的。』（帖前3:3b）Insight:“For you know quite well that we are destined for them (trials).” (1Th 3:3b)  

默想：「若一個肢體受苦，所有的肢體就一同受苦；若一個肢體得榮耀，所有的肢體就一同快樂。」（林前12:26）Insight: “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” (1Co 12:26)

默想：「人應當省察，然後吃這餅、喝這杯。因為人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身體，就是吃喝自己的罪了」（林前11:28-29）。Insight: “Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.” (1Co 11:28-29)

默想：「所以你們或吃或喝，無論做什麼，都要爲榮耀神而行。」（林前10:31）Insight: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1Co 10:31)

默想：「凡我所行的，都是為福音的緣故，為要與人同得這福音的好處。」（林前9:23）Insight: “I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” (1Co 9:23)

默想：『若不傳福音，我便有禍了。』（林前9:16b）Insight: “Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! ” (1Co 9:16b)
