Meditation one: How can\nChristians triumph over Satan who accuses us before our God day\nand night? It is through the blood of Jesus and our\nown testimony in our lives. Whatever sin that we have committed, if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will\nforgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1Jn 1:9) We can triumph over Satan because of the power\nof Jesus’ blood. What Satan fears about is not the broad knowledge that we may\nhave in Bible and theology, but the word of our own testimony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Why\ndoes Satan intensify its persecution of Christians? It is because it knows that\nits “time is short”. The devil who holds the power of death uses the\nfear of death to enslave us, but the power of Jesus Christ who has been\nresurrected from the death has broken the power of Satan who holds\nthe power of death (Heb 2:14-15). As\nwe are living in this world, God’s only demand on us is to be faithful even to the\npoint of death. (Rev 2:10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nGod heavenly Father, thank You for everything you have accomplished on the\ncross through Jesus Christ. In the spiritual wrestling, the devil’s wile is to seek\nwhom it\nmay devour,\nbut I am confident that the promised triumph is: there is no one, including the\ndevil, who can accuse Your chosen ones.
