Meditation one: Do you\nbelieve that the God who led Joshua to victory for Israel can still help us\nfight beautiful spiritual warfare today? The turning point between victory and\ndefeat is not how much manpower there is, but whether there are God’s promises\nand God’s presence. If God is for us, who can be against us (Rom 8:31)? When we stand for the apposite side, God\nwill reach out and fight for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Why\ndoes God tell us not to panic? Because we are His children redeemed with His\nprecious blood and are treasures in God’s eyes. He will never abandon us, nor\nwill he leave us orphans. But this assurance\ndepends upon whether we seize God’s promises, follow all the words of God, and\nhold a holy life firmly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nThank God for Your presence and the promise of victory. In our lives we often\nencounter things that are frightening, panicking, depressing, disappointing,\nand inexplicable. Help me not to look at the environment, but to look onto the\nvictorious Lord. He has promised, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who\nloved us”.\n(Rom 8:37) Lord!
