Meditation one: Why\nshould we obey God’s greatest commandment? It is because Jehovah our God is the\nonly Lord. There is no other god but Him. God command the people of Israel to\nlisten is to remind them not to forget how God rescued them out of Egypt and\nset them free from slavery. This is God’s proactive love. Now we are given the\ngrace while there are still many challenges in this world, yet our God still\nsits enthroned and rules over all. His love for us will never change. When we\nknow how to love God, we can then understand how deeply God loves us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: What\ndoes it mean that God want us to love Him “with all your heart\nand with all your soul and with all your strength”? It is to ask us to love God thoroughly, no\nhesitation, with the whole heart, the whole body, and all the resources we\nhave. Does God ask from us way too much? It is not too much at all since the\nway God loves us is just like this. He loves us to the point that He even\nsacrificed His beloved son Jesus to die on the cross. Those who love God will\nobey His commandments; keeping God’s commandments is a testimony of loving God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nGod heavenly Father, thank You for your words. Please open the ears of my soul,\nthat I may hear your words. Help me, I am willing to open my heart, be in awe,\nlisten and obey your commandments.
