讀經：使徒行傳第一章。
默想：「但聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必得著能力；並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地和撒瑪利亞，直到地極作我的見證。」（徒1:8）
默想一：主耶穌從死裡復活後，頒布的大使命是什麼？是『你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒』（太28:19）。這也是教會存在的目的。但我們必須靠聖靈行事，因我們是靠聖靈得生（加5:25）。一個人即使多有才幹，而且經驗豐富，但若沒有聖靈的能力，他的工作不會有果效；相反，一個人即使沒有學識、才幹、恩賜、經驗，但若他得著聖靈的能力，神能照樣使用他，使他的事奉有果效。
默想二：在今天的世代裡為主作見證容易嗎？憑自己的才幹、知識、口才、經驗不能為神做什麼。神是全能的，根本就不需要我們來扶助。但祂要我們全然地依靠祂，祂說：『不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠神的靈，方能成事』(亞4:6)。聖靈的能力是無可限量，祂能賜下智慧、勇氣、膽量、信心、能力和權柄。
禱告：感謝神，因袮賜下聖靈充滿我們，也成為我們隨時的幫助。求祢的聖靈時時光照我，讓我看重禱告的生活，藉著禱告等候仰望聖靈的工作。禱告要聖靈的帶領，在聖靈裡的禱告才能達到神的面前，蒙神悦纳。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們！
Bible Reading: Acts 1.
Insight: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Act 1:8)
Insight one: After the Lord Jesus resurrected from the dead, what was the great commission He proclaimed? It is “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Mat 28:19). This is also the purpose of the church. But we must keep in step with the spirit since we live by the Spirit (Gal 5:25). Even if a person is talented and experienced, yet without the power of the Holy Spirit, the person’s work will not be fruitful; on the contrary, even while a person does not have the knowledge, talent, gifts, and experience, with the power of the Holy Spirit, God can also use the person and make the ministry fruitful.
Insight two: Is it easy to witness the Lord in today’s generation? You cannot do anything for God based on your own talents, knowledge, eloquence, and experience. God is almighty and does not need us to help. But He wants us to rely on Him wholly. He said: “It is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.” (Zec 4: 6). The power of the Holy Spirit has no limit. He can give wisdom, courage, bravery, faith, power, and authority.
Prayer: Thank You God for giving us the Holy Spirit to fill in us, and becomes our help in time of need. May Your Holy Spirit always shine on me. Make me cherishing the life of prayer and waiting for the work of the Holy Spirit through praying. Prayer requires the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Only the prayer in the Holy Spirit can reach God and be pleased by God. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
