《新年靈修默想四》：「雖然無花果樹不發旺，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹也不效力，田地不出糧食，圈中絕了羊，棚內也沒有牛；然而我要因耶和華歡欣、因救我的神喜樂。」（哈3:17-18）
默想一：在你人生的旅程中，你遇到許多「雖然」的景況—不發旺、不結果、不效力的逆境嗎？趕快從怨天尤人、沮喪、絕望的深淵裡跳出來，及時地轉向神，像先知哈巴谷一樣以「然而」來表明對神的堅定信心。他說：「然而我要因耶和華歡欣，因救我的神喜樂」。無論發生任何事情,神一直坐著為王，祂永遠掌權。
默想二：基督徒為什麼在遇見苦難時，可以照樣喜樂，並且能高唱信心的歌？因為我們深知神是要藉著苦難來磨練我們的信心，使我們的生命更茁壯成長。神的目的不是故意用苦難來打垮我們的生命，而是要健壯我們的靈命。讓我們經歷「惟義人必因信得生」（哈2:4）的喜樂。
禱告：恩典的主，感謝袮。因為若不是袮的恩典，我們沒有人能够在袮面前站立得住！袮既是哈巴谷的神，也是我的神。求袮幫助我，讓我專心仰望袮，靠袮剛強喜樂。也求袮加添我力量和信心，就是再大的攔阻，再多的挑戰，再高的風浪，我不怕，因我相信袮必為我開路！奉主耶稣基督的名禱告，阿們！
1/5 ” New Year Meditation IV”: ” Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” (Hab 3:17-18)
Meditation 1: Along the journey of your life’s pathway, have you encountered many “though” adversities – does not bud, nor fruit and the labor failed? Quickly jump out of the abyss of resentment, depression, and despair, turn to God in time and use “yet” to show your firm faith in God like the prophet Habakkuk did. He said, “yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” No matter what happens, God always reigns, He always rules.
Meditation 2: Why can Christians still be joyful when they encounter adversities and are able to sing the song of faith? Because we know that God wants to refine our faith through adversities and make our lives grow stronger. God’s purpose is not to deliberately use adversities to fail our lives, yet to strengthen our spirit. Let us experience the joy of “but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness” (Hab 2:4).
Prayer: Lord of grace, thank You. Because if it were not for Your grace, none of us could stand in front of You! You are the God of Habakkuk and also my God. Please help me, let me unite my heart and look upon You, rejoice and be strong through You. I also pray to You to increase my strength and faith. No matter how big an obstacle can be, no matter how many challenges can come, no matter how excessive the wind and waves are, I will not be not afraid, because I believe You will open a way for me! I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
