默想：約書亞對他們說：「你們不要懼怕，也不要驚慌，應當剛強壯膽。」（書10:25）
默想一：神在過去幫助約書亞帶領以色列人打漂亮的戰，今天你相信神能照樣幫助你打漂亮的屬靈爭戰嗎？我們所信的是昔在、今在，永在的神。得勝關鍵不在人多少，乃在乎有沒有神的同在。有人靠車，有人靠馬，但我們要提到耶和華我們神的名（詩20:7）。神若幫助我們，誰能抵擋我們（羅8:31）？
默想二：神為什麼叫我們不要懼怕？因爲我們是祂用寶血所救贖的兒女，是神眼中的寶貝。無論我們遇到什麼，祂絕不會撇下我們不管，也絕不丟棄我們為孤兒。當神說「不要怕」時，那意思是「只要信」。凡是因信成為神兒女的，都能享有神同在的應許。
禱告：阿爸父神，感謝祢同在及得勝的應許。我得承認在生活裡經常會遇到令人懼怕、驚慌、喪膽、灰心、失望、莫名奇妙的事。求祢幫助我，讓我的眼目不看環境，也絕不讓命運擺佈，乃是單單地定睛在祢得勝的應許上，專心仰望祢的導引。奉主耶穌寶貴的聖名禱告。阿們！
Insight: “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous.” (Jos 10:25)
Insight one: God helped Joshua lead the Israelites in the wonderful battles in the past. Today, do you believe that God can still help you fight wonderful spiritual battles? What we believe in is the God who was, is and is forever. The key to victory is not in the number of people, but in the presence of God. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God (Psalm 20:7). If God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?
Insight two: Why does God tell us not to be afraid? Because we are the sons and daughters redeemed through His blood, the treasures in the eyes of God. No matter what we encounter, He will never leave us alone, nor will He forsake us as orphans. When God says “Don’t be afraid “, it means “Just believe.” Anyone who becomes a child of God by faith can enjoy the promise of God’s presence.
Prayer: God Abba Father, thank You for Your presence and the promise of victory. I have to admit that there are often fearful, discouraging, frightening, frustrating, disappointing, and inexplicable things in daily life. Please help me to keep my eyes off the environment, and never let fate manipulate me. I instead will look steadfastly on Your victorious promise and look upon Your guidance with all my heart. I pray in the precious holy name of the Lord Jesus. Amen!
