讀經：约翰福音第十八章。
默想：耶穌說：『凡屬真理的人，就聽我的話。』（約18:37）
默想一：主耶穌來到世上作什麼？祂要把真理帶到人間來，祂是來表明神，彰顯神，讓世人從祂的身上看見神。所有聽信而遵從主的話的人，是屬於真理的人。他們的心會受真理的約束，並在生活上見證基督的真理。
默想二：如何讓世人看出你是『屬於真理』的人？關鍵在於你是否在凡事上聽從耶穌基督，因為祂是真理的主（約14:6）。一個人是否「屬於真理」，不是看他聖經懂多少，或滿口是屬靈的用語，而是看他是否真的「聽」主的話。若說自己是基督的門徒，是跟隨基督的人，卻不行真理也沒有活出真理，那是自欺欺人的。
禱告：天父上帝，感謝袮所顯明的真理，更感謝袮讓我認識世上唯一的真理。求袮教導我如何謹守每日的讀經，讓袮真理的話照亮我每天的生活。只要祢説什麼，我都樂意遵行。奉主耶穌的名禱告，阿們！
Bible Reading: John 18.
Insight: “Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” (Joh 18:37)
Insight one: What does the Lord Jesus do in this world? He wants to bring the truth to the world. He is to reveal God, to manifest God, and to let the world see God through Him. All who listen to Him and obey the Lord’s Word are on the side of truth. Their hearts will be bound by the truth, and witness the truth of Christ through their lives.
Insight two: How to let the world see that you are “on the side of truth”? The key point is whether you obey Jesus Christ in all things because Jesus proclaimed Himself the Lord of the truth (Joh 14: 6). Whether a person is “on the side of truth” depends not on how much knowledge about the Bible, or whether the person’s talk is filled with spiritual terminologies, but whether the person really “listens” to the Lord’s words. If we say that we are disciples of Christ, followers of Christ, but do not abide by the truth and live out the truth, then we are deceiving ourselves.
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for the truth You have revealed, and thank You even more for letting me recognize the only truth in this world. Please teach me how to keep my daily Bible reading, and let Your truth illuminate my daily life. I am more than willing to do whatever You say. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
