默想：「愛你們是為真理的緣故，這真理存在我們裏面，也必永遠與我們同在。」（約貳2）Insight:  “because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever.” (2Jh 2)

默想：「凡從神生的就勝過世界，使我們勝了世界的，就是我們的信心。勝過世界的是誰呢？不是那信耶穌是神兒子的嗎？」（約一5:4-5）Insight:  “for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1Jh 5: 4-5)

默想：「人若說『我愛神』，卻恨他的弟兄，就是說謊話的；不愛他所看見的弟兄，就不能愛沒有看見的神。」（約一4:20）Insight:  “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” (1Jh 4:20)

默想：「從來沒有人見過神，我們若彼此相愛，神就住在我們裡面，愛祂的心在我們裡面得以完全了。」（約一4:12）Insight:  “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (1Jh 4:12)

默想：「小子們哪，你們是屬神的，並且勝了他們；因為那在你們裏面的，比那在世界上的更大。」（約一4:4）Insight:  “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1Jh 4:4)

默想：「小子們哪，我們相愛不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實（真理）上。」（約一3:18）Insight:  “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” (1Jh 3:18)
