默想：「不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。」（羅12:2 ）Meditation: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rom 12: 2)
默想：「因為神的恩賜和選召是沒有後悔的。」（羅11:29）Meditation: “For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.” (Rom 11:29)
默想：「你若口裡認耶穌為主，心裡信神叫祂從死裡復活，就必得救。因為人心裡相信，就可以稱義；口裡承認，就可以得救。」（羅10:9-10）Meditation: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Rom 10:9-10)
默想：就如經上所記：『我在錫安放一塊絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石；信靠他的人必不至於羞愧。』（羅9:33）Meditation: “As it is written: ‘See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame. ‘” (Rom 9:33)
默想：「我們曉得萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是按祂旨意被召的人。」（羅8:28）Meditation: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Rom 8:28)
默想：「我真是苦啊！誰能救我脫離這取死（使我死亡）的身體呢？感謝神！靠著我們的主耶穌基督就能脫離了。」（羅7:24-25）Meditation: “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to (brings me into) death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!” (Rom 7:24-25)
