默想：『以色列啊，你們中間有當滅的物。你們若不除掉，在仇敵面前必站立不住。』（書7:13）

默想：「呼喊吧！因為耶和華已經把城（敵人最後一道防線的耶利哥城）交給你們了。」（書6:16）Insight:  “Shout! For the LORD has given you the city (Enemy’s last defending line Gilgal)!” (Jos 6:16)

默想：「把你（約書亞將軍）腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站的地方是聖的。」（書5:15）Insight:  “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” (Jos 5:15)

默想：約書亞吩咐百姓說：「你們要自潔，因為明天耶和華必在你們中間行奇事。」（書3:5）Insight:  “Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.”” (Jos 3:5)

默想：「這律法書不可離開你的口，總要晝夜思想，好使你謹守遵行這書上所寫的一切話。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事順利。」（書1:8）Insight:  “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Jos 1:8)

默想：我就撲倒在地，聽見有聲音對我說：「掃羅，掃羅！你為什麼逼迫我？」我回答說：「主啊，你是誰？」祂說：「我就是你所逼迫的拿撒勒人耶穌。」（徒22:7-8）Insight:  “I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’‘Who are you, Lord?’ I asked.’ ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied.” (Act 22:7-8)
