《今日靈修默想》：耶穌說：「你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒。你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。」（約8:31-32）
默想一：你是基督的真門徒嗎？只有常常遵守基督真道的人，就是願做祂所做，說祂所說，愛祂所愛，行祂所行的人。真門徒必然活出真自由的生活。
默想二：基督與撒旦所賜的自由有何不同？基督賜的是「不自由的自由」，因為它是來自真理，受真理的限制，凡不合真理的事不能做。只在真理的軌道上才有自由。「主的靈在哪裡，那裡就得以自由」（林後3:17）。撒旦賜的是「自由的不自由」，牠標榜著：只要你喜歡什麼事都可以，隨心所欲，不受拘束，但到最後成了罪的奴隸，掉入痛苦的深淵裡，不能自拔。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝祢。因祢的真理讓我得以自由。求祢幫助我，我願立下心志：不合祢真理的事我不幹，違反神旨意的事我不從，令聖靈擔憂的事我不做。只求袮的真道在我身上彰顯。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。
《Today’s spiritual meditation》”Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” (John 8:31-32)
Meditation one: Are you truly a Christ’s disciple? Only if you always hold the teaching of Christ and are willing to do what He does, to say what He says, to love what He loves, to act what He acts. A true disciple surely always lives a life of true freedom.
Meditation two: What is the difference between the freedom of Christ and the freedom of Satan? Christ gives us “the Freedom from not being bound” because it comes from the truth, is converged by the truth, and nothing that is away from the truth can be conceded to. Freedom only exists when keeps on the path of the truth. “Where is the spirit of the Lord, and there is Freedom” (2Co3:17). Satan offers “a freedom of being controlled” It claims: You can do whatever you like or desire. It eventually makes you become a slave of sin, falling into the great deep of suffering, and cannot set yourself free.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You. For Your truth makes me free. Help me to keep my heart steadfast: I will not do anything that is away from Your truth, or against God’s will, or grieve the Holy Spirit. I only ask to reveal Your truth in me. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
