《今日靈修默想》：「至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華。」（書24:15）
默想一：誰是你和你全家的主？基督若是一家主，你邀請祂作你家的主人嗎？還是叫祂作你家的傭人？今天家庭危機大部分是在「主人」之爭，到底誰要聽誰？誰要服誰？只有當我們謙卑地讓基督作主作王時，問題不再是問題了。要成為蒙神賜福的家嗎？關鍵在讓基督在家掌權。
默想二：如果耶穌今天要去到你家，你有地方留給祂嗎？耶穌來我們家作客人是一回事，讓祂作主又是另一回事。 我們不要再把耶穌當作馬槽中的嬰孩逗著玩，而是接待祂，請祂作全家人的生命的主。耶穌若不能作我們人生全部的主，祂就不算是我們的主！
禱告：親愛的恩主，感謝祢成為我人生的異象。祢是那位信實、守約、施慈愛的主。求袮幫助我，不僅是讓「基督是我家之主」成為我們全家的核心信仰，也要傳承給全家族以致代代相傳；不僅成為敬拜主的家族，也成為事奉主的家族。奉主耶穌寶貴的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Jos 24:15)
Meditation one: Who is the master of you and your family? If Christ is the head of the household, do you invite Him to be the master of your family? Or make Him a servant of your family? Today, most of the family crisis is in the dispute of “master”. Who should listen to whom? Who should submit to whom? Only when we humbly let Christ be the master and the ruler, the problem will no longer be a problem. Want to be a blessed home of God? The key is to have Christ in power at home.
Meditation two: If Jesus is coming to your house today, do you have a room for Him? Let Jesus come to our house as a guest is one thing, and to let Him be the master is another thing. Let us stop just treating Jesus only as a baby in the manger, but rather receive Him and ask Him to be the master of the life for the entire family. If Jesus cannot become the master of our whole lives, then He cannot be called as our Lord!
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for being the vision of my life. You are the faithful Lord who keeps Your covenant and Your steadfast love. Please help me, not only to make “Christ is the Lord of my family” as the core belief of our entire family, but also to pass it on to the entire kinsfolk so that it can be passed down from generation to generation; Not only it is a family who worships the Lord but also a family who serves the Lord. I pray in the precious name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
