《今日靈修默想》：「你的日子如何，你的力量也必如何。」（申33:25）
默想一：神對祂兒女的祝福怎麼不說：「你的力量如何，你的日子也必如何」，而是「你的日子如何，你的力量也必如何」？神知道我們人的力量有限，神不要我們用世人那「人定勝天」的天真想法和辦法。基督徒是被神從世界分別出來的，我們是屬神的，是耶穌基督的門徒，我們要「活出」信靠神的日子，才能「得著」來自神的力量。
默想二：今年漸進尾聲，面向新年，你對未來有把握嗎？就連明天將發生什麼，也沒有人知道。但是信靠神的人可以放心，因為神明確地應許：「你的日子如何，你的力量也必如何」。這對我們是有力的提醒、激勵和安慰。主耶穌不要我們為明天憂慮，但要我們先求神的國和祂的義，其他的事包括未來祂會全權處理。我們信靠顺服，行在主的旨意中，主必與我們同在，祂的同行是我們前進的力量。
禱告：阿爸父神，感謝袮。因袮是我們力量的所在。我真的不知道明天將發生什麼，但我會抓住袮的應許。我相信袮說的：「我的恩典是夠你用的」（林後12:9）。求袮堅固我的信心，讓我勇敢地面對未來，每天活出袮的得勝。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “And your strength will equal your days.” (Deu 33:25)
Meditation one: Why doesn’t God say to His children, “your days will equal your strength” but “your strength will equal your days”? God knows that our own power is limited, and God does not want us to use the worldly naive thoughts and ways that “man can always conquer nature”. Christians are separated from the world by God. We belong to God and are disciples of Jesus Christ. We must “live out” the lives of trust in God in order to “gain” the strength from God.
Meditation two: It is approaching the yearend. While facing the New Year, do you have the assurance of your future? No one knows what will happen tomorrow. But those who trust in God can rest assured because God has explicitly promised, “your strength will equal your days”. This is a powerful reminder, encouragement and comfort for us. The Lord Jesus does not want us to worry about tomorrow, but to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and He will take complete care of other things including the future. While we trust and obey and walk in the Lord’s will, then the Lord will be with us. Walking with Him is the strength for us to move forward.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for being our strength. I really don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but I will seize Your promise. I trust what You have said, “My grace is sufficient for you” (2Co 12: 9). Please strengthen my faith, let me face the future bravely, and live out the victory of Yours every day. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen!
