《今日靈修默想》：『洪水泛濫之時，耶和華坐著為王；耶和華坐著為王，直到永遠。』（詩29:10）
默想一：當新冠病毒造成全世界大災難時，我們的神在哪裡？祂隱藏嗎？不是的！祂是『坐在這些災難之上為王』。祂一直坐在寶座上統管萬有包括歷史的走向，因為「萬有都是本於祂，倚靠祂，歸於祂。願榮耀歸給祂，直到永遠。」（羅11:36）。當我們接受耶穌基督的救恩時，祂要成為我們的亮光、拯救、力量和性命的保障。
默想二：當世人被疫情弄得驚慌失措，焦慮不安時，我們基督徒能為世人做什麼？除了禱告求神的憐憫、醫治、安慰，我們自己要靠主站立得穩，成為世人安定的力量。魔鬼要藉著病毒造成的懼怕，來左右我們的生活及將來。不幸的是，有不少人不是病死，卻是被嚇死。讓我們把眼目轉向主耶穌，祂走過苦難，也勝過苦難。祂會陪伴我們面對風暴。有主耶穌同在我們的船上，我們就有平安。
禱告：信實的上帝，感謝袮一直『坐着為王』直到永永遠遠。我相信屬袮的兒女所面對的任何災難，若不是神的允許，都不會無故地傷害到袮的兒女。袮還應許：『我們的日子如何，力量也如何。』神若幫助我們，我們還怕什麼？主，求袮加添我的信心。奉主耶穌得勝的名禱告，阿們！
代禱： 求神賜那些不顧生命為搶救、照顧生病和垂死的醫護專業人員、義工禱告。求神賜他們智慧和能力有效地抑制病毒，及時找到疫苗及特效藥。也給他們夠用的防護器材並有健康的身心靈。
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever.” (Psa 29:10)
Meditation one: When the new coronavirus caused a catastrophe all over the world, where is our God? Is He hiding? No! He is “sitting enthroned over these disasters”. He has been always sitting on the throne to rule over all, including our history, because “For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever!” (Rom 11:36). When we accept the salvation from Jesus Christ, He will be our stronghold of light, salvation, strength and life.
Meditation two: When the world is panicked and anxious by the epidemic, what can we Christians do for the world? Besides praying for God’s mercy, healing, and comfort, we must rely on the Lord to stand firm and become a stable force for the world. The devil wants to manipulate our lives and future through the fear caused by the virus. Regrettably, many people are not deceased from the disease but are scared to death. Let us turn our eyes upon the Lord Jesus, Who has gone through sufferings and overcome them. He will accompany us to face the storm. With the Lord Jesus on our boat, we surely have peace.
Prayer: Faithful God, thank You for “sitting enthroned” forever and ever. I believe that any disaster Your children are facing will not harm Your children for no reason unless it is permitted by God. You also promised: “Our strength will equal our days“. When God helps us, what are we afraid of?” Lord, please increase my faith. I pray in the victorious name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
Intercession: Pray that God will give the medical professionals and volunteers who risk their lives, care for the sick and dying patients. Pray that God would give them wisdom and ability to effectively suppress the virus and find vaccines and special medicines in time. Also give them enough protective equipment and have a healthy body and mind and spirit.
