《今日靈修默想》：「草必枯乾，花必凋謝；惟有主的道是永存的。」（彼前1:24-25）
默想一：你現在所追求的是值得嗎？人的生命短暫，就像花草一樣，無論多美都很快就消失無影。人間所矜誇的榮華富貴、名利地位都將轉眼成空，如飛而去。但我們的神和祂的道是永不改變、永遠長存。人生即使會有狂風暴雨，但我們不用怕，因神應許要與我們同在的話不會落空。神的話就是靈，就是生命（約6:63）
默想二：你跟這位永生神的關係如何？你對神的話、旨意、作為的認識有多少？這都與你每日讀神的話有直接的關係。神的話語就是真理，是永存的；神的道永存，是真理，所以聖經說：「道就是神」（約1:1），就是耶穌的生命。基督徒走天路需要神的話作指引，因神的話是腳前的燈，是路上的光（詩119:105）。
禱告：天父上帝，感謝袮。因祢那活潑常存的道，我的生命才有意義和永恆的盼望。求袮堅固我的信心，讓我一生持守袮的道，不偏左右。「這世界和其上的情慾都要過去，惟獨遵行神旨意的，是永遠常存。」（約一2:17）我願將餘下的光陰、恩賜、精力、金錢、才幹獻上給祢用，直到那天見主面。奉耶穌寶貴的名祈求。阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” (1Pe 1:24-25)
Meditation one: Is what you are pursuing now worthy? Human’s life is short, like a flower and the grass, no matter how beautiful it is, it will soon vanish. Yet the pride of the worldly prosperity, wealth, fame, and fortune are nothing but labor and sorrow, for they pass quickly, and we fly away. However, our God and His Word will never change, and will last forever and ever. Even if our lives have storms, we don’t have to be afraid, because the words that God promises to be with us will never fail. God’s words are full of the Spirit and life. (Joh 6:63)
Meditation two: How is your relationship with the God of eternity? How much do you know about God’s words, will, and work? All these are directly related to your daily reading of God’s word. The word of God is the truth and exists forever; the word of God is eternal, is the truth. So the Bible says: “The word was God” (Joh 1:1). That is the life of Jesus. Christians need the word of God to guide them on the way to heaven, because the word of God is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. (Psa 119:105).
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You. Because Your Word lives and remains forever, so my life becomes meaningful and has eternal hope. Please strengthen my faith; let me keep Your Word all the way through, not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. “The world and its passions will pass, but those who do the will of God will live forever” (1Jn 2:17). I am willing to dedicate my remaining time, gifts, strength, possessions, and talents for Your usage until the day I see my Lord. I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen!
