Bible Reading: Romans 12.

Meditation:  “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Rom 12:12)

Meditation one: Is a Christian’s hope only limited to the life in this world? If so, we are the most pity group of people in the world. The Bible has said clearly that our hope is to firmly believe that Christ will come again, and our flesh will then be redeemed to receive the glory of eternity. This lively hope not only helps us to be patient in affliction, but also inspires us to seize the opportunity to actively live for the Lord. Because of this eternal hope, we are joyful people.

Meditation two: During a spiritual wrestling, Christians are attacked by all kinds of assaults constantly. In addition to firmly trust where our hope is, God wants us to continue to pray. Prayer makes our lives stronger and our pathway shining. God values our prayers more than our ministries. The reason we pray is to know God better. No matter where we are, prayer is not only a battle, but also our responsibility.

Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for the hope You give to us. Although I am facing all kinds of afflictions and am going through numerous battles, I know that You have been through all these before, and in all these things Youare more than conquerors. Since You are with me, why should I fear? Hallelujah! I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
