《今日靈修默想》：「不可叫人小看你年輕；總要在言語、行為、愛心、信心、清潔上，都作信徒的榜樣。」（提前4:12）
默想一：基督徒生命的成熟度與年齡有關嗎？沒有！但跟你的敬虔有關，也就是在行為舉止上莊重，在言語上有分寸；保羅提醒我們“污穢的言語一句不可出口，只要隨事說造就人的好話，叫聽見的人得益處。”(弗4:29)
默想二：作信徒與作信徒的榜樣哪樣容易？你教會的信徒把你當作敬虔的榜樣嗎? 榜樣必須言行合一，表裏一致，內在外在平衡。如果我們只講生命的道，而言語、行為與蒙召的恩不相稱，那麼主耶穌的救恩就算不得甚麼了。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝袮愛的提醒，讓我知道該如何活出袮的榮美。求祢光照我，使我的今天不論在哪裡，都活出基督徒應有的品德及當有的樣式。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” (1Ti 4:12)
Meditation one: Is the maturity of a Christian’s life related to the age? No! But it is related to your godliness, which is solemn in behavior and appropriate in words; Paul reminded us that “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” (Eph 4:29)
Meditation two: Which is more achievable – be a believer or be a role model for other believers? Do the believers in your church regard you as a role model of godliness? A role model must be unified in speech and conduct, consistent in mind and deeds, and harmonized between mindset and impression. If we only talk about the Word of life, but the speech and conduct are not worthy of the calling we have received, then the salvation of the Lord Jesus means nothing.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for your kind reminder, which makes me understand how to live out Your glorious beauty. Please shine on me, so that wherever I am today, I can live out the quality and likeness that Christians should have. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
