《今日靈修默想》：「愛你們是為真理的緣故，這真理存在我們裏面，也必永遠與我們同在。」（約貳1:2）
默想一：基督徒彼此交通的主要根基是什麼？是愛與真理！我們一旦信主得救，主耶穌基督的真理就住在我們的裏面(弗4:24)。基督就是愛，也是真理。我們若光有愛沒有真理，是糊塗的愛；光有真理没有愛，是冷酷的愛。所以基督徒的愛必須以真理作基礎。
默想二：我們的愛如何在真理中長大成熟？必須在真理上多下工夫，因為神的道就是真理(約17:17)，聖靈也是真理(約16:13)。我們堅信真理而不是道理：道理是死的字句，真理是活的精意；道理是存在頭腦裏，人人都會講，但真理是住在相信基督的人的心裏。真理既是永遠的住在我們的裏面，所以因真理而有的愛心也是永不改變的。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝袮把真理的愛賜給我們。袮是愛與真理的源頭，求袮賜我智慧，讓我跟人的彼此相愛是行在袮的真理。也求你的聖靈管理我心，在袮的光中，活出袮真誠的愛。奉耶穌寶貴的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever.” (2Jh 1:2)
Meditation one: What is the essential foundation among Christians’ fellowship? It is love and truth! Once we believe in the Lord and are saved, then the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ lives in us. (Eph 4:24) Christ is love and truth. If we have love without truth, it is an absentminded love; Holds truth but without love, it is heartless love. Therefore Christians’ love must be based on truth.
Meditation two: How does our love grow in the truth? It is necessary to work diligently towards the truth diligently since the Word of God is the truth (Joh 17:17), and the Holy Spirit is also the truth (Joh 16:13). We firmly believe in truth, not dogma. Dogma is dead letters, and truth is the spirit of living. Dogma is in one’s head, everyone can speak about it, but the truth lives in the heart of those who believe in Christ. Since truth lives in us forever, so the love derived from the truth will also never change.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for giving us the truth of love. You are the source of love and truth. Give me wisdom, and let me love each other in Your truth. Also ask your Holy Spirit to rule my heart so I can live out the sincere love in Your light. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen!
