《今日靈修默想》：『弟兄們，你們各人蒙召的時候是什麼身分，仍要在神面前守住這身分』（林前7:24）
默想一: 為什麼守住自己蒙召時的身份是那麼重要？過去我們是罪的奴僕，但如今因信靠耶穌基督就從罪裡得釋放，作神的兒女。雖然心靈得了自由，但不是叫我們忽略或脫離自己的家庭、社會、國家的責任。作為基督徒，我們仍然有生活上當盡的本分，就是要領更多的人信主，與我們同享福音的好處。
默想二：你確認自己信主後的角色是什麼嗎？我們信主之後，我們屬世的身分與工作，若與罪無關，都要持守。所不同的，不是外表的改變，而是內心改變。如今我們蒙恩得救了，我們「無論作什麼事，都要從心裡作，不是給人作，而是給主作的。」（西3:23）
禱告：天父上帝，感謝袮。因像我這樣的人還蒙袮使用，這並不是我的外表、能力和表現，而是出自於袮的恩賜和選召。求袮幫助我，無論我的地位、角色、身分如何，我願盡力在袮安排的崗位上榮耀袮的聖名，奉主耶穌的聖名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Brothers and sisters, each person, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.” (1Co 7:24)
Meditation one: Why is it so important to remain in the situation we were in when God called us? In the past we were slaves of sin, but now we are released from sin and become children of God by faith in Jesus Christ. Although one’s soul is free, it does not mean that we can overlook or detach from the responsibilities in our family, community and nation. As Christians, our lives still hold the obligated responsibility to bring more people to Lord to partake the goodness of the gospel.
Meditation two: Are you aware of what your role should be after you believe in the Lord? After we believe in the Lord, our worldly position and work, unless associated with sin, otherwise should be kept. The only difference is it is not an exterior appearance change, but a transform in one’s inner mind. Now that we are saved, “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Col 3:23)
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You. Under Your mercy, even a person like me can still be used by You. It is not because of my appearance, talent and deed, but the gift and the calling from You. Please help me, regardless what my status, role, and position would be, to be willing to do my best to glorify Your holy name at the position You delegated to me. I pray in the holy name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
