《聖誕靈修默想四》:「你們要看見一個嬰孩，包著布，臥在馬槽裡，那就是記號了。」（路2:12）
默想一：主耶穌的降生以嬰孩、包著布、馬槽作記號代表什麼？充分顯明了祂的降卑。耶稣基督本是創造萬有的主宰，卻為了人類的需要而降世為人。祂降生的時候，身上包著粗糙的布，卧在冰冷、簡陋又有味道的馬槽中，這是何等大的委屈與犧牲。主耶穌降卑行動也正彰顯了祂的愛。今天我們也當效法耶穌的榜樣，謙卑地順服神。
默想二：你讓人認出你是基督徒的記號是什麼？是胸前的十字架項鍊？還是車尾有關耶穌的貼紙？不管是任何形式的記號，主要的是，你的記號能使人尋找到主耶穌基督嗎？盼望每位基督徒，不只迎接主耶穌進入我們心中，也接納那些無處容身的人，帶給他們溫馨，同時隨著聖誕詩歌的飄揚，將平安的福音傳給萬民。
禱告：父神，讚美袮透過耶穌基督降生把袮的愛表露無遺。感謝袮在耶穌基督裡為我們所成就的一切恩惠。主的降生不僅是尋找人，也是拯救人；袮不僅賜生命，也給平安。求袮使用我，在動盪不安的世界裡，讓我成為報福音傳喜信的人，將屬天的『平安夜』帶給周圍的人。奉主耶穌的名禱告，阿們!
《Christmas spiritual meditation 4》: “This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” (Luk 2:12)
Meditation one: What does the sign of the birth of the Lord Jesus as a baby, wrapped in a cloth and laid in a manger represent? It fully revealed His humbleness. Jesus Christ was the Creator of all things, but He came into the world as a man for the needs of mankind. When He was born, He was wrapped in rough cloth and laid in a cold, coarse and reeking manger. What an inequity and sacrifice this was. The Lord Jesus’ humbleness has also expressed His love. Today we should follow the example of Jesus and humbly obey God.
Meditation two: What kind of sign do you make people recognize you as a Christian? Is it the cross necklace on the chest? Or is it the sticker about Jesus on the back of the car? Regardless what type of signs, the main thing is, can your sign enable people to find the Lord Jesus Christ? Hopefully all Christians will not only welcome the Lord Jesus into hearts, but also accept those who have no place to lay and pass the kindness to them. At the same time, with the echoes of Christmas songs, go and spread the gospel of peace to all people.
Prayer: God Abba Father, praise You for showing Your love through the birth of Jesus Christ. Thank You for all the blessings You have accomplished for us in Jesus Christ. The birth of the Lord is not only to look for people, but also to save people; You not only give life, but also peace. May You use me, in this turbulent world, let me become a person who preach the gospel, bring glad tidings of good things, and passes the heavenly “Silent Night” to those around me. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
